Your images stay on your device

UnderKB processes images entirely in your browser. Files you select or drag onto the page are read into memory by your own device, decoded and re-encoded locally, and are never transmitted to us or to any third party. We operate no image server, and we cannot see, store or recover the files you work with. Closing the tab discards everything.

What we collect

We do not ask you to create an account and we do not collect names, email addresses or image content. Our hosting provider records standard server logs — IP address, browser user agent, requested page and timestamp — which are used for security and aggregate traffic analysis and retained for a limited period.

We also use Ahrefs Web Analytics to count visits. It sets no cookies and stores no identifier on your device. For each page view it sends the page address, the page you arrived from and your browser's user agent to Ahrefs, which — as with any request to any server — also sees the IP address it came from. Ahrefs acts as our processor and states that the service collects no personal data and builds no cross-site profile; their handling of it is described in the Ahrefs privacy policy. What reaches us is an aggregate count of page views, with no way to identify you. Blocking the script with a content blocker leaves every tool on this site working exactly the same.

Cookies and advertising

The tool itself does not require cookies to function. This site may display advertising served by Google AdSense and its partners. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this and other sites on the internet.

You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of third-party vendor cookies at aboutads.info/choices. Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are shown a consent notice before any non-essential cookies are set, and may withdraw consent at any time.

Your rights

Under the GDPR and comparable laws you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold about you, and you may object to its processing. Because we hold essentially none, such requests are usually answered by confirming that fact. Write to valae.entreprise@gmail.com.

Children

This service is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.

We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected in the date at the top of this page.
